Journal An-Nafs Focuses on empirical studies of educational psychology and includes discussions of social psychology in educational (interpersonal, group, and community interactions). This journal publishes research based on empirical studies using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches.

Since June 2020, this journal has been accredited SINTA 2 journal based on the Decree of The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 148/M/KPT/2020.</note>
